Beyond getting five-star quarterback Drew Allar meaningful playing time during Saturday’s win over Indiana, the Nittany Lions are seeing some key players make announcements about the future of their football career. It seems the Penn State Football coaching staff is beginning to have the conversations with key contributors about whether they will be returning for one more season in 2023.

Before the start of the 2020 season, the NCAA granted players the COVID-Option, meaning that if you want to come back an extra year you can do that.
This is something to keep an eye on, earlier Tuesday Penn State Football offensive lineman Hunter Nourzad announced he will use the COVID year and return to Penn State Football for the 2023 season.
