Penn State Football enters the 2023 college football season with lofty expectations, and with a roster potentially capable of leading the program’s first charge into the College Football Playoff.
Lambert-Smith went so far to make a bold proclamation for the new-look Penn State Football receiving corps.
“I feel like once we all get on board,” Lambert-Smith sad. “Our room can be the best in the country.”
Lambert-Smith, along with marquee transfer portal arrivals Dante Cephas, and Malik McClain give Allar a veteran group at the top of the depth chart, along with talented young contributors like Kaden Saunders, Malick Meiga, and Harrison Wallace in positions to play impactful snaps.
Last season, Lambert-Smith caught 24 passes for 389 yards and 4 touchdowns, while averaging 16.2 Yards per Reception.
Lambert-Smith will be tasked with replacing some of the production lost by the departing Parker Washington and Mitchell Tinsley. But, if he does, this offense is going to be a multi-faceted one that will prove difficult to defend.
That offense, just might be good enough to carry the Lions to sights unseen during the James Franklin era.
