Steve Jones on the Game winning Touchdown against Purdue

“What worked on the final drive was the precision and the pace of the drive. “They worked on the two-minute situation repeatedly in the pre-season and it paid off.  Purdue could not set its defense because of the pace. The pass play to Mitchell Tinsley set the tone for the drive and pass play for the touchdown to Keyvone Lee was a terrific route and touch throw that beat cover zero.”

What should fans expect on Saturday against Ohio?

“Well, in college football it is the Week 1 to Week 2 improvement in every area. Obviously, a lot of people want to see the running game grow.  I see the potential there, now it is a question of the cohesion up front developing to go with those talented running backs.” Penn State Football kicks off against Ohio at Noon on Saturday, inside Beaver Stadium, in State College, Pa. READ NEXT: Why Drew Allar could play key role for Penn State Football vs. Ohio
