No. 5 – Deon Butler

Deon Butler may not have received as much recognition as some of his counterparts, but his contributions to the Penn State offense cannot be overlooked.

Butler’s speed and precise route-running made him a reliable target for the Nittany Lions.

He finished his career with 179 receptions for 2,771 yards and 22 touchdowns, placing him among the program’s all-time leaders in each category. Butler’s ability to stretch the field and make big plays was instrumental in Penn State’s success during his time with the team.

No. 4- Derrick Williams

Derrick Williams brought unmatched athleticism and versatility to the Penn State offense during his tenure from 2005 to 2008.

Williams made an impact as a receiver, return specialist, and occasional quarterback. His electrifying playmaking ability allowed him to excel in various roles, making him a nightmare for opposing defenses.

Williams finished his career with 161 receptions for 1,743 yards and 9 touchdowns. He played a crucial role in Penn State’s Big Ten Championship season in 2008 and left an indelible mark on the program.

No. 3 – O.J. McDuffie

O.J. McDuffie was a standout receiver for Penn State Football from 1988 to 1992.

Known for his exceptional hands and exceptional ability to gain yards after the catch, McDuffie was a reliable target for the Nittany Lions’ quarterbacks.

He finished his career with 175 receptions for 2,795 yards, placing him second on the school’s all-time list in both categories at the time of his departure.

McDuffie’s impact extended beyond his collegiate career, as he went on to have a successful NFL career with the Miami Dolphins.

No. 2 – Allen Robinson

Allen Robinson made an immediate impact when he stepped onto the field for Penn State Football.

From 2011 to 2013, Robinson established himself as a dominant force in the passing game. His combination of size, athleticism, and precise route-running made him virtually unstoppable.

Robinson holds the single-season records for receptions (97) and receiving yards (1,432) at Penn State. He earned consensus All-American honors in 2012 and was a two-time Big Ten Receiver of the Year.

Robinson’s ability to make clutch plays in crucial moments endeared him to Penn State fans.

No. 1 – Bobby Engram

Bobby Engram is widely regarded as one of the greatest wide receivers in Penn State Football history.

During his time with the Nittany Lions from 1991 to 1995, Engram showcased his exceptional route-running skills and reliable hands. He holds the school record for career receptions with 167 and ranks second in receiving yards with 3,026.

Engram was instrumental in Penn State’s undefeated season and Rose Bowl victory in 1994, earning him the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top wide receiver.
