Taulia Tagovailoa is one of the best quarterbacks that Penn State Football will face all season. This matchup will feature a strength versus strength with the Maryland wide receivers and the Penn State secondary.

The weather will be another factor this weekend as a rainy or windy Saturday will severely hinder both offenses.

Penn State Football should cover the spread in this game but it will be closer than some of the Maryland games in the James Franklin era. Last year’s game was close until a late pick 6 put the game away and the Nittany Lions won 31-14.

If Nebraska can jump on the Wolverines early, they have a good chance to cover this spread. Nebraska has a good enough offense to keep this game within 4 touchdowns and a backdoor cover will always be in the cards as Michigan looks ahead toward their big matchups with Illinois and Ohio State in the upcoming weeks.
