How Penn State Wrestling Can Close Out Big Ten Championship | Finals Preview

Penn State Wrestling tied a program record sending six Nittany Lions to the Big Ten Wrestling Conference Finals set for Sunday afternoon.

The only wrestler who was a top-2 seed to not advance was Beau Bartlett who lost to 3rd seed Brock Hardy from Nebraska.

Penn State Wrestling will take a healthy lead in the team standings into Sunday evening with double the number of Iowa finalists (3).

In addition to the 6 finalists, Beau Bartlett (141), Shayne Van Ness (149), and Alex Facundo (165) have all qualified for the NCAA Tournament. Gary Steen (125) is still eligible for an at-large bid to NCAA’s if he wins the ninth-place match on Sunday.
