Former Penn State Football standout K.J. Hamler could be on the move, as the NFL trade deadline nears.
The Denver Broncos, according to a report by TheScore’s Jordan Schultz, have been fielding calls on Hamler from teams looking to add wide receiver help ahead of the Nov. 1 NFL trade deadline.
Hamler, 23, has caught just five passes so far this season for 113 yards, while averaging a whopping 22.6 Yards Per Reception, but has struggled to get on the same page and build chemistry with new Broncos starting quarterback Russell Wilson.

Prior to being chosen by the Broncos in the second-round of the 2020 NFL Draft, with the No. 46 overall pick, Hamler was a two-year starter for the Nittany Lions and a focal point of the Penn State Football vertical passing game.
During his career in Happy Valley, Hamler caught 98 passes for 1,658 yards and 13 touchdowns. However, Hamler has yet to develop into that type of explosive playmaker in the Broncos’ offense, but could benefit from a change of scenery with more consistent quarterback play and a system that pushes the ball vertically.
