No. 11 Penn State Football notched a signature victory, taking down No. 8 ranked Utah, in blowout fashion, 35-21 for the program’s second Rose Bowl victory.
Monday’s win over the Pac 12 champions marks the third New Year’s Six victory under Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin, and could serve as a springboard for the program into 2023 and a bright future.
True freshman running back Nick Singleton rushed for two touchdowns, including an 87-yard scamper that broke the contest wide open. Meanwhile, Manny Diaz’s Penn State Football defense shutout Utah in the second half.
