The visit will be Zollers’ fifth visit to Penn State since June, per 247Sports, after Zollers attended two camps and unofficially visited twice last year.

Zollers picked up an offer from the Nittany Lions on November 7, 2023, his fifth reported offer at the time. The four-star quarterback now reports 11 offers, including Big Ten foes Nebraska and Michigan State, and familiar regional schools in Syracuse, Virginia Tech, and Pittsburgh.

The 2025 quarterback is rated as a four-star prospect by both 247Sports and the 247Sports composite ranking, where he ranks in the top 200 prospects in the nation and the top six prospects in Pennsylvania in both rankings.

Penn State Football currently has seven commits in the 2025 class, including one other quarterback and three other Pennsylvania commits.

James Franklin and Penn State holds a commitment from three-star quarterback Bekkem Kritza from Colorado in the 2025 class but is looking to finish out the class with one other quarterback.

Both Kritza and Zollers were recruited by former Penn State offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich before he was fired last November.

The visit this weekend will be Zollers’ first visit to campus after Penn State’s hiring of Andy Kotelnicki as the school’s new offensive coordinator for 2024.

Although Zollers reports 11 offers, according to 247Sports, Penn State remains as the only school that Zollers has visited so far in his recruitment.
