Penn State Football Moneyline: -625

Placing a $625 bet on Penn State Football to knock off Indiana, straight up on the moneyline, would pay $100. Penn State leads the all-time series 23-2. Penn State Football won last year’s matchup in Beaver Stadium 24-0. The Nittany Lions have dominated this series, but the games in Bloomington tend to be much closer than expected in recent years.

Penn State Football vs. Indiana over/under: 50.5

The total has gone over in 6 out of 8 games this season for Penn State Football. The total has gone over in 4 of 8 games for Indiana. The total has gone over in 4 of the last 6 matchups with the Hoosiers.

Picks for the Week:

This will be a crucial game in determining how Penn State bounces back after their chances of a Big Ten Championship and College Football Playoff appearance are gone.

Saturday will be the first game of a manageable stretch that could help propel the Nittany Lions to 10-2 and a NY6 bowl bid.

Indiana just lost their best WR for the season and haven’t won a Big Ten game since Week 1 over Illinois. These games tend to be closer than the experts think so while the Nittany Lions should cover the spread, it should only be a lean/sprinkle on your college football card. The under is a play in this game as Indiana doesn’t have a great offense and Penn State may start slow out of the gate coming off an emotional loss.

Prediction: Penn State 31  Indiana 10

Big Ten Pick of the Week:

Maryland (+5) @ Wisconsin

The Terps are getting star quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa back from injury this week just in time for a big road matchup against the Badgers.

This will be a big test for Maryland seeing if they can take that next step to be a contender in the East division.

The Terps are explosive on offense and getting Taulia back should prove too much scoring for the Badgers. Wisconsin has looked much better since hiring Jim Leonhard as interim but haven’t faced an offense like Maryland with him at the helm. If Maryland can win this game outright they would most likely be ranked coming into Beaver Stadium next week.
