After 55 games over four seasons with the Carolina Panthers, including 32 starts, former Penn State Football defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos has signed with the San Fransisco 49ers on a two-year, $18 million deal according to Ian Rapoport.

After declaring for the 2020 NFL draft after his junior season at Penn State, Gross-Matos was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2020 draft, 38th overall. In four seasons with the Carolina Panthers, Gross-Matos racked up 142 tackles, 30 quarterback hits, 19 tackles for a loss, 13 sacks, four fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles.
Before his selection in the 2020 NFL draft, Gross-Matos was a standout at Penn State at defensive end, accumulating 36.5 tackles for a loss and 18.5 sacks over three seasons with the Nittany Lions.
Gross-Matos will join former Penn State Football stars Ji’Ayir Brown and Kevin Givens on the San Fransisco 49ers defense.
